Considering the changes taking place, ISoSS Hyderabad, a pioneer of education for nearly three decades has embraced offering B.Com Program. This Program has three variants:

  • 3-Year B.Com (IT and Analytics )
  • 4-Year B.Com (Hons.)
  • 4-Year B.Com (Hons.with Research)

This Program is uniquely designed equip students with upgraded-skills in this era of integrated information technology and automation technology. Students will gain required knowledge and skills in areas such as Big data, Data Analytics, data visualization, data driven decision making, Predictive Analytics, basics of block chain, and emerging technology in addition to Accounting, Assurance , and Taxation.

ISoSS has modeled and aligned its Undergraduate programs with the New Education Policy 2020 guidelines suggested by the University Grants Commission, Govt of India. It is offering these programs based on a flexible structure. Students have the opportunity to pursue a four year honors program and a four year honors with research program. Those desirous of completing their education at the UG level in three years will be eligible for a three-year degree. In all the programs students have to meet the prescribed criteria for graduating. Students pursuing the four year with or without honor can look forward to careers in different finance, Accounting and technology domains as well as go on for higher studies in India and abroad including PhD, in top-rated institutions in India and abroad.

Selection Process

The Selection is based on merit and personal interview. The applicant should fulfil the minimum age requirement as prescribed by the respective board through which the applicant has appeared for the qualifying examination.

  • B.Com (Hons.) Program is divided into 8 Semesters spread over four years.
  • Students can opt to exit after the third year with a Graduation BCom Degree.
  • The 4-year Program consists of 47 courses (24 core commerce (including 4 electives) + 9 minor in IT & Analytic courses + 3 inter-disciplinary courses + 4 Ability Enhancement + 3 Skill Enhancement courses + 4 Value Added Courses).
  • There is one Summer Internship Program, after the second year for a period of 8 weeks to provide corporate exposure.
  • On completion of third year of B.Com, the program gives a choice to the students to opt for Research Project in Commerce, that concludes with submission of Dissertation. Such students will be awarded B.Com(Hons. with Research).

Admission Modalities

The Admission modalities are with reference to the B.Com Program offered by ICFAI School of Social Sciences (ISoSS), a constituent of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad.

Eligibility

Pass in Class XII or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 50% and above marks (any discipline) with English as medium of instruction.

The applicant should fulfill the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective board through which the applicant has appeared for the qualifying examination.

If an applicant is found ineligible even at a later date, after admission into the program, his/her admission will be cancelled. All admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/documents of the applicant. The decision of the Admissions Committee regarding eligibility of any applicant shall be final.

The selected applicants will be given the admission letters on the date of Interview and will be given Provisional Admission. The provisional admission is subject to payment of admission fee as well as meeting minimum academic criteria.

Applicants who have appeared for Class XII (or equivalent) examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply provided they complete their examinations (including practical examinations) before july 26, 2025. The admission of applicants will, however remain provisional until they produce mark sheets establishing their eligibility. The last date for submitting the proof of Class XII (or equivalent) marksheet is September 18, 2025, failing which the provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled.

How to Apply

Interested students can apply by any one of the following methods:

  • Online Application:

    Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at https://www.ifheindia.org/icfai-school-of-social-sciences-hyderabad and make payment of Rs. 600 towards the cost using Credit / Debit Card (Visa / Master Card) / Internet Banking through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application. The Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.

  • Download of Application Form:

    Applicants can fill their details online and download the Application Form from https://www.ifheindia.org/icfai-school-of-social-sciences-hyderabad and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 600 towards the cost of the application in favor of “IFhe-Prospectus Fee A/c B.Com” payable at Hyderabad.

  • Fill the Application Form:

    Applicants can fill in the application form given in page No 3 and send it to the Admissions Office.

Selection Process

The selection for the program is made based on merit. Eligible applicants are required to apply for the program using the Application Form (given on page 3). Final selection will be made based on personal interview.

Caution Deposit

Students of B.Com Program are required to pay a caution deposit of Rs. 10,000 along with the first semester fee. The caution deposit will be refunded without interest to the students on completion of the program. Caution deposit shall not be adjusted to any fee dues etc.

Accommodation and Transportation

Limited hostel rooms are available at the campus on twin sharing basis. Day Scholars can avail bus facility from City to IFHE Campus on payment basis.

Merit Scholarships

IFHE offers merit scholarships to the students pursuing the B.Com Program. The scholarships are based on past academic record and Semester-wise performance during the B.Com Program.

A. Merit Scholarships based on past academic record

Students will be awarded merit scholarships based on percentage of aggregate marks achieved in qualifying examination (Class XII or its equivalent). Scholarship will continue semester after semester only on maintaining the minimum 6.0 GPA in the previous semester. The details are as presented in the following table.

* Above scholarship amount will be disbursed equally in 6/8 installments in each semester fee payable.

B. Merit Scholarships based on Semester-wise Performance

Up to 10% of the students of the batch will be awarded merit scholarships based on the Semester-wise performance in the B.Com Program (Details presented in the table given below). These scholarships are awarded in addition to the scholarships based on the past academic record.

Bank Loans

Several public and private sector banks provide educational loans to applicants. Applicants seeking educational loans may approach the respective bank branches. The Financial Aid Cell at IBS facilitates the bank loan process wherever required.
