Admission Modalities

Eligibility

  • Pass in Class XII or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% and above marksin single attempt (any discipline) in English medium
  • Class XII (or equivalent) students who appeared for their final examinations before July 14, 2025 and awaiting for results are also eligible to apply
  • Should have qualified in ILSAT 2025 conducted by ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad

Applicants should not be more than 21 years of age as on the day of commencement of the Semester I i.e., July 28, 2025. However, the changes if any made to age limit by the BCI from time to time will be followed. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary School Certificate will be taken as authentic.

Applicants seeking admission into BA-LLB (Hons.) program need to appear and qualify in the ICFAI Law School Admission Test (ILSAT 2025) being conducted by The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad.

For Class XII students awaiting final examination results will be given provisional admission. The admission of such applicants will, however, remain provisional until final mark sheets establishing their eligibility are submitted. The last date for submitting the proof of Class XII (or equivalent) mark sheet is September 18, 2025, failing which the provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled.

ILSAT 2025 is an aptitude test conducted on Computer Based Test (CBT) format.

Applicants interested in appearing for ILSAT 2025 can apply by any one of the following methods.

  • Online Application

    Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.ifheindia.org/icfai-law-school-hyderabad and make payment of Rs. 1,000 towards the cost using Credit/ Debit Card (Visa/Master Card/Internet Banking) through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application. The Law Programs Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.

  • Download Application Form

    Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form from www.ifheindia.org/icfai-law-school-hyderabad and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Bank Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000 drawn on Scheduled Commercial Bank towards the cost of the application.

    The Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of “IFHE-Prospectus Fee A/c ILSAT 2025” payable at Hyderabad. The Law Programs Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.

  • Fill the Application Form

    Applicants can fill-in the application form and send it to the Admissions Office.

Students selected for the BA-LLB (Hons.) Program is required to pay the fee as follows.

In addition, students have to pay Rs. 10,000 as refundable Caution Deposit along with the First Instalment of Program Fee. The caution deposit will be refunded without interest to the students on completion of the program. Caution Deposit is not adjustable against Program Fee and other dues.

Limited hostel rooms are available and Day Scholars can avail bus facility from City to the campus on payment basis

ICFAI Law School offers merit scholarships to the students pursuing the BA-LLB (Hons.) program. The scholarships are based on the performances in Class XII (or equivalent) and Semester-wise performance.

Merit Scholarships based on past academic record

Percentage achieved in qualifying examination (Class XII or its equivalent) will decide the scholarship amount. Scholarship will continue semester after semester only on maintaining the minimum 6.0 GPA in the preceding semester. The details are presented in the following table:

Merit Scholarships based on Semester-wise Performance

Up to 10% of the students of the batch will be awarded merit scholarships based on the Semester-wise performance. These scholarships can be awarded in addition to the scholarships based on the past academic record stated above. Details are given in the following table:

Several public and private sector banks provide educational loans to applicants. Applicants seeking educational loans are required to approach the respective bank branches. The Financial Aid Cell at Admissions Office (e-mail: finaidcell@icfaiuniversity.in) helps the applicants to apply for bank loan and also facilitates for the bank loan process wherever required.
