A candidate shall be awarded Bachelor of Architecture degree by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad (a Deemed-to-be University) on successful completion of all the courses of studies and subject to University regulations.

ISArch offers Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) Program under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) specified by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India enabling students to choose courses of interest while meeting the minimum required credits. Under the Choice Based Credit System, which is a student/ learner centric system, the courses of study in the Architecture Degree program are as under:

A course, which should compulsorily be studied by a student as a core requirement is termed as a core course. The weightage in terms of credits is 50%.

A course, which informs the professional core and should be compulsorily studied. The weightage in terms of credits is 20%.

A course which can be chosen from a pool of courses and are of two types:

  1. Professional Elective (PE): which may be very specific or specialised or advanced or supportive to the discipline/ subject of study or which provides an extended scope. Credits: 10%.
  2. Open Elective (OE): Which enables an exposure to some other discipline/subject/domain or nurtures the candidate’s proficiency/skill. Credits: 5%

Which may be of two kinds:

  • Employability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (EECC) Credits: 10%
  • Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) Credits: 5%

Admission Modalities

The Admission modalities are with reference to the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) Program offered by the ICFAI School of Architecture (ISArch), a constituent of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad.

Eligibility

  • Pass in 10+2 examination Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with minimum 45% marks in aggregate

OR

  • Pass in 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subject, with minimum 45% marks in aggregate
  • Qualify an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (JEE) or NATA 2025 conducted by Council of Architecture (COA) in the current year (2025)

Admission into the B.Arch. Program is a multi-stage process based on their:

  • Performance in the qualifying examination,
  • Personal Interaction with the program faculty and/ or written test.
  • Scores of NATA-2025

The selected candidates will be given the Selection Letters on the date of the Interview and will be given Provisional Admission. The provisional admission is subject to payment of the admission fee.

If an applicant is found ineligible even at a later date after admission into the program, his/her admission will be canceled. All admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the applicant’s original certificates/ documents. The decision of the Admissions Committee regarding the eligibility of any applicant shall be final.

Applicants who have appeared for Class XII (or equivalent) examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply provided they complete their examinations (including practical examinations) before September 10, 2025. However, applicants’ admission will remain provisional until they produce mark-sheets establishing their eligibility. The last date for submitting the proof of Class XII (or equivalent) mark sheet is September 15, 2025, failing which the provisional admission will automatically stand canceled.

A) Download of Application Form Applicants can download the Application Form from www.ifheindia.org/isa and send it to the Admissions Office (Address mentioned below) along with the Bank Demand Draft of Rs. 600 towards the cost of the application in favor of "IFHE-Fee Collection A/c B.Arch" payable at Hyderabad.

B) Fill the Application Form Applicants can fill in the Application Form given on page No 3 and send it to the Admissions Office, # 65, Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad - 500 082, Telangana State.

Submission of Application Form: The completed application form should be sent to the following:

Following is the checklist for the certificates to be attached while applying for admission:

  1. 10th Class Marks Sheet
  2. 10+2 or 10+3 Marks Sheet and qualifying certificate (in case the candidate is applying before the announcement of results of the qualifying examination, he/she may submit a Bonafide Certificate of his/her current school/college).
  3. NTA (JEE) or NATA 2025 scorecard
  4. Duly Filled in Application Form

Students of B.Arch Program are required to pay a caution deposit of Rs. 10,000 along with the first semester fee. The caution deposit will be refunded without interest to the students on completion of the program. Caution deposit and Security deposit are not adjustable against Program Fee and other dues.

Limited hostel rooms are available at the campus. Day Scholars can avail bus facility from City to Campus on payment basis.

ISArch offers Merit Scholarships (Fee Waiver) to the students pursuing the B.Arch Program. The scholarships are based on past academic record in Class XII and Semester-wise performance during the B.Arch Program.

A. Merit Scholarships based on past academic record:

Merit Scholarship based on past academic record is provided to students on the basis of percentage achieved in qualifying examination. The details are as presented in the following table.

B. Merit Scholarships based on Semester-wise Performance:

Merit scholarship in subsequent semesters shall be provided based on the academic performance of the previous semester. Scholarship amounts are calculated as per the scheme given below.
